Do You Need to Get Rid of Some Old Computer Equipment?

If you are concerned about removing the contents of your hard drive before getting rid of your old computer then you should wipe the drive. There are various programs which can help you do this, many are free (of no cost), and one example is here:http://www.dban.org/

Another option is for me to remove your hard drive and securely erase it before taking it to a recycling facility.

And perhaps the best option - Goodwill in cooperation with Dell offers recycling through a program called Reconnect: Goodwill Recycling
